This tutorial explains how to recover missing disk or missing bios application in HP Elitepad 900 G1.
1. Download HP PC Hardware Diagnostic 4-in-1 USB Key from https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp118001-118500/sp118364.exe
It is a big file (approximately 1 GB)
2. then run it (or extract it) to a folder
3. Prepare a 8GB usb flashdisk, and attach to usb port.
4. Execute biosunzip.bat then enter Drive letter of the USB flashdisk.the system will format the UFD and copy the entire ctory intu the UFD.
5. After finish and CMD tells usb ready to use, close the CMD page.
6. Download an iso image of Windows 8/8.1 32bit
7. Open the iso image using file explorer. Copy the entire content of the iso image into the UFD. When a message prompt of replacing existing files, just overwrite them.
8. Detach the UFD and attach to Elitepad 900. Booting up, the system will enter to windows installation. You can repair the existing partition or bootloader using and command prompt of the windows installation. Or, you can wipe out the partition and install a fresh windows 8.
